Lawson's Andy Brown wants to be Voice UK coach

Lawson singer Andy Brown has revealed his desire to become a coach on The Voice.

The UK TV talent show is currently one member down after Jessie J recently left the series after two years.

Her departure has sparked speculation that more could follow, with will.i.am the coach most widely tipped to leave next.

Whilst speaking to the Daily Star, Lawson man Andy Brown put his hat into the ring should any more coaching positions come available. He said:

"I'd be absolutely delighted [to be a Voice coach]. I think it’s a brilliant show. Not only do I watch The Voice but I obviously have an interest in that sort of thing, because I’ve been singing, writing songs and playing guitar since I was a kid. Anything I can do to help up-and-coming musicians is great. If I was approached I’d love it."

Other names rumoured to be in the frame for coaching positions include Rita Ora and Paloma Faith.

The Voice UK is scheduled to return to screens for a third series next year.
