One Direction fans have been sharing their excitement about the band's new single on Twitter.

The chart-topping five-piece - comprising Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - have been teasing clips from their impending 'Best Song Ever' music video all week, with the song airing on the radio too.

One Direction are set to drop the track this weekend but the teasers have sent fans into a frenzy, with many taking to Twitter to share their excitement ahead of the single's official released.

While one fan wrote: “Blasting best song ever as loud as I possibly can all day long (:,” another wrote: “can't stop dancing to BEST SONG EVER! It literally is the best song ever! Hah <3 <3 (sic)."

The promo for 'Best Song Ever' sees the heartthrobs dressed as a range of guises, with Malik dressed as a woman for the tongue-in-cheek video.

One user gushed about the star's temporary transformation, exclaiming: " ZAYN IS SO PRETTY IN THE BEST SONG EVER MUSIC VIDEO ;-) (sic)."

Meanwhile, many One Direction fans have been shooting their own 'Best Song Ever' tributes in celebration of the upcoming single and posting them online.
