Lea Michele joins Glee cast and crew at Cory Monteith memorial
Lea Michele and Glee creator Ryan Murphy gathered cast and crew from the show on Thursday (July 25) to remember the life of Cory Monteith.
As previously reported, the 31-year-old actor - who played Finn Hudson in the popular TV series - died on July 13 in a Canadian hotel room as a result of heroin and alcohol.
The news shocked the entertainment world and in particular co-star Lea Michele, who Monteith was dating before his death.
The actress and Glee's Ryan Murphy organised a memorial yesterday in Hollywood to honour the late star, which was attended by cast and producers.
A statement issued by Fox on the memorial reads: "Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of Glee, along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith.
Ryan Murphy meanwhile previously revealed that they will shoot an episode dealing with the death of Finn Hudson in due course.
