Chris Colfer breaks silence on co-star Cory Monteith's death

'Glee' actor Chris Colfer has taken to his official Instagram page to pay tribute to his colleague Cory Monteith, who tragically died on July 13 from an alcohol and heroin overdose.

Many members of the show's cast have spoken out about Monteith's untimely passing, but Colfer (known as portraying Kurt Hummel on the hit U.S. musical drama) has remained quiet until now.

He has shared a photograph of himself on the set of a TV interview with Monteith earlier today (July 26), which you can see below, and accompanied it with an emotional message: "I'll never forget all the laughs we shared or the faces we made after awkward interview questions. Love and miss you, buddy."

The creator of 'Glee', Ryan Murphy, recently confessed that an upcoming episode will be dedicated to Monteith's memory: "We will begin shooting in late August the two shows we had already written, so that people can physically go back to work. We will then do an episode that will deal with the death of Finn's character and follow that with a long hiatus."
