Lady Gaga has revealed a new promotional image ahead of the release of the first single from her new album 'ARTPOP'. 

The image sees Gaga posing in the nude sat upon a technological-looking chair and sporting a pair of outlandish glasses (see picture below).

Gaga took to Twitter for the picture’s unveiling and provided the caption: “1ST SINGLE FROM ARTPOP COMES AUG. 19 #24 DAYS.”

Whilst her new single will be released on August 19 Lady Gaga will be performing at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on August 25. The ceremony will be held at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

Although there has been speculation over the title of the ‘Bad Romance’ star’s new track it is still yet to be confirmed. 

Gaga also recently stripped off for another photo shoot for V magazine (see second image below).
