One Direction fans hit back at GQ for articles and quotes about the boyband

The One Direction heartthrobs have just graced the cover of GQ magazine individually and fans of the boyband have hit out at the publication for some of the content printed in the accompanying articles.

Harry Styles's cover shoot caused the most controversy as the strap line under his photo referred to his sex life ("It's definitely less than 100") and also boasted an adaptation of the Daft Punk song lyric, "He's up all night to get lucky".

Upon seeing the magazine cover, the 'Little Things' singer's fans became angry and started tweeting about the suggestive headline. One follower wrote: "@BritishGQ DO YOU REALIZE HOW MANY PEOPLE WANT TO CASTRATE THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR THIS SH***Y MAGAZINE?"

Another threatened: "HARRY'S COVER SAYS HE UP ALL NIGHT TO GET LUCKY. @BritishGQ YOURE MAKING HIM SOUND LIKE A WH**E. HES NOT A F**KING W**RE YOU STUPID C***S."

One Directioner even cursed GQ with a bomb threat, writing: "I'M GONNA BOMB YOUR HEADQUARTERS! DIRECTIONERS ARE THE WORST FANDOM TO MESS WITH! F**K YOU GUYS!"

Luckily, staff at GQ saw the funny side of the situation and responded with an article entitled 'The most terrifying responses to GQ's One Direction covers'.
