Kylie Minogue's new album to feature "different sound"

Kylie Minogue's next album will deviate from her pop norm, according to producer Darkchild.

The singer is currently working on the follow to 2010's 'Aphrodite' and it seems a change in sound is in the offing.

The Aussie recently signed up to Jay-Z's Roc Nation management roster and rapper Brooke Candy revealed she was recording for Minogue's new single.

Speaking to That Grape Juice, producer Darkchild said that the singer's next album is consciously aiming for a new sound. He said:

"She's still a pop icon, Kylie's huge around the world. I think the first thing they wanted to do was to bring her over to America to work with some American producers which was really cool. We're definitely going for a different sound."
