A spokesperson for Justin Bieber has denied the Canadian was involved in a recent alleged nightclub melee.

There are currently reports circulating that there was an altercation at a New York nightspot on Saturday (August 3) that left a clubgoer injured in the singer's presence.

It has been speculated that Bieber "went nuts" at a man after a female friend allegedly tried to chat up the singer.

However, a rep for the 'Baby' man told the Daily Mail that Bieber wasn't part of any reported incident. They said:

"Justin was not involved in any altercation."

TMZ meanwhile state that a police report has been filed against Bieber's entourage for their part in the alleged incident.

They report that the victim claims he was knocked to the ground outside the venue and was injured enough to require hospital attention.
