Adrienne Bailon: 'Britney Spears can't hold a conversation, she has to have lines fed to her'

Cheetah Girls songstress turned TV host Adrienne Bailon has revealed that trying to interview Britney Spears during last year's run of 'X Factor USA' was a really difficult challenge.

Speaking to presenters during an appearance on on U.S. talk show 'The Real' recently, the singer explained that the 'Till The World Ends' pop superstar was awkward to talk to and needed help holding a conversation together for the cameras: "The ultimate meltdown was Britney Spears... I worked with her on X Factor and I'm not going to lie to you guys, I would sit and do my interviews with Demi (Lovato) and do the behind-the-scenes stuff. But she (Spears) can't hold a conversation."

Bailon (pictured below on the show's set) continued: "No. They have someone who feeds her what she is supposed to say. Like she can't hold a conversation."

Spears left the show after judging for just one season and is now in the studio working on a brand new album, which she has described as "coming sooner than you think": "This album is for my diehard fans so it needs to be perfect!!!!
