Lea Michele says it's "good to be home" as Glee filming continues

Lea Michele has expressed her happiness at returning to the set of Glee.

The show was rocked by tragedy in July when Cory Monteith - who played the character Finn Hudson - died aged 31 from a cocktail of heroin and alcohol.

Actress Michele was dating the Canadian at the time and naturally she was profoundly affected by the untimely death.

Glee has since resumed filming and Michele has updated fans on Twitter with her progress, saying:

"Feels so good to be home...#GleeSeason5."

She accompanied the text with an atmospheric and emotional image of herself sitting on her lonesome looking reflective.

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert meanwhile is due to star in Glee's upcoming series but he recently admitted that he is still waiting to be told when to start filming.
