Miguel has been arrested on drink-driving charges.

A spokeswoman for the California Highway Patrol confirmed that the US star was stopped by police at 2am on August 15 in Los Angeles.

He was initially pulled over for speeding and driving with tinted windows.

However, Miguel was then breathalysed and was found to have a blood alcohol level of 0.10% - 0.02% over the California limit.

He was released on bail shortly after and will face court over the incident in September.
