Union J star George Shelley has dismissed speculation that he is dating Little Mix's Jesy Nelson.

The pop duo reportedly kissed whilst attending the V Festival in Chelmsford at the weekend.

However, Shelley told fans during a video chat today (August 19) that rumours of him dating the 'Wings' lady are some way off the mark. He said:

"It is not true I am dating Jesy Nelson. But we did go to V Festival together and it was fun. But you all know I'm a cuddly person. So it's fine."

Shelley meanwhile previously denied that he was a "cake-destroying maniac" after being pictured lobbing Jesy Nelson's birthday cake about on a night out.
