Cher has unveiled the cover art for her upcoming new album.

The veteran singer is releasing the record 'Closer to the Truth' from September 24 as she makes her latest foray into the market.

The artwork for the album sees Cher with blonde hair and lying in a nightgown.

'Closer to the Truth' is set to be the singer's twenty sixth studio record and it will feature Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears.

As previously reported, Cher recently attributed her longevity to luck, not so much talent. She said:

"There are lots of people who are more talented or whatever, but somehow this has been my path. So this is what I'm doing."
