Lady Gaga has revealed her excitement at her upcoming iTunes Festival show.

The US star is due to perform at the London Roundhouse on Sunday (September 1) as the music company hosts a month of free concerts.

Whilst Gaga performed at the weekend's MTV VMAs, it has been months since the singer last performed a headline set as a result of injury.

She was forced into cancelling a number of dates earlier this year due to hip surgery and speaking on Twitter today (August 30), Gaga admitted that it is weird to feel her body get back into the swing of things. She said:

"It's so crazy feeling all my muscles wake up back up again! Rehearsal in London has been so fun, I missed performing and can't wait till Sun!"

The 'Applause' star meanwhile has so far uploaded two videos of herself rehearsing new songs.
