Arctic Monkeys were one of the few music related winners at this year's GQ Men of the Year Awards.

The annual bash took place last night (September 3) in London as the magazine paid tribute to leading names across a number of fields.

The indie group bagged the Band award as they look ahead to releasing new album 'AM' on September 9.

Pharrell Williams meanwhile picked up the Performer gong and Lou Reed celebrated with the Inspiration award.

Noel Gallagher won the Icon prize whilst Sir Elton John, who has recently recovered from an appendix operation, bagged the Genius award.

The Who's Roger Daltrey meanwhile collected the Editor's Choice gong.

A number of big music names attended the event and dazzled on the red carpet, such as Jessie J and Rita Ora.
