Union J have revealed that they look up to One Direction.

The British boyband featured on last year's X Factor but failed to win the show - just like the 'Kiss You' lads back in 2010.

One Direction have since gone on to achieve massive worldwide success and speaking to the Daily Star, Union J's Jaymi Hensley said that they are a big influence. He revealed:

"Without them we wouldn’t be here. They are who you look up to."

JJ Hamblett added: "We’d love to be at the BRITs and win an award and for One Direction to win one at the same time. That’s our dream.”

Union J meanwhile have confirmed that they will release the song 'Beautiful Life' as their next single.
