Mel B has suggested that she could collaborate with former bandmate Geri Halliwell.

The Spice Girl confirmed to the Metro that she is working on new solo material - and it seems Halliwell is in her sights for a duet.

The singer said: "I just recorded three hot, hot new singles. I've been recording on and off all year - the same as Geri."

She added: "I don't know if we will collaborate but we're having dinner on Saturday night so we are going to be talking about that." 

Mel B meanwhile is starring as a judge on new ITV dancing show Stepping Out, which is hosted by Davina McCall.

Celebrities who feature on the reality series include Brian McFadden and JLS star Oritise Williams.
