Music mogul Simon Cowell has revealed that he isn't really a relationship kind of man because routine where romance is concerned is so dull.

Speaking to Esquire magazine about his new love affair with socialite Lauren Silverman (pictured below with Cowell), who he will be having his first child with as she recently announced her pregnancy, Cowell confessed that dating isn't something he typically enjoys:

"The greatest challenge with relationships is boredom. Monotony is a killer."

"I've been there. You just go, 'You know what? This is like Groundhog Day. I'm not having a great time and I don't think she is either.'"

Cowell added that the repetition is the most grating thing about being in a committed relationship:

"And when it's over, don't let it drag on. If you ever get that feeling when you're driving home, 'I might just circle the block before I go in', it's over."
