Justin Timberlake likens new album to a "hotter, older sister"

Justin Timberlake has described his forthcoming new album as the "hotter" older sister of 'The 20/20 Experience'.

The US star is due to release the second volume to that record on September 27 as he continues his foray back into music.

Speaking to the New York Times, Timberlake took time to talk about the '2 of 2' release, which he likens to an "evil" but enticing older sister. He said:

"If you could imagine you’re 16 and she’s everything you thought. She’s Marilyn Monroe and then you meet her older sister; everything that’s dark and wrong about her at that age is why you become infatuated with her."

Talking meanwhile about his somewhat risky return to music in the shape of 'The 20/20 Experience', the former 'N Sync man said:

"You get to this point, which I’ve done in the last five or six years, where you become less worried about success and failure."
