Avicii reveals Adam Lambert recorded 'Lay Me Down' hungover

Avicii has admitted that Adam Lambert laid down vocals on the track 'Lay Me Down' whilst suffering from a hangover.

The pair teamed up with guitarist Nile Rodgers to record the new song, which features on Avicii's debut album 'True'.

Speaking to Juice FM, the Swedish DJ praised Lambert and his ability to record perfect vocals despite being a bit fuzzy from the night before. He said:

"Adam was hungover because he had been up partying, and he came down and he sang it and that's the same take that's in the release. It's same one that he did when he was hungover."

Avicii concluded: "He is a phenomenal singer."
