Beyoncé song used in Welsh school to control pupils

'Irreplaceable' by Beyoncé is currently being used by a school in Wales to reminds pupils to keep "to the left" when walking the corridors.

The song features the lyrics, "to the left, to the left. Everything you own in a box to the left", and this unusual tactic was employed by Bryngwyn School in Llanelli because the staff knew that the students would respond more effectively to something they could relate to.

Headteacher Paul Jones explained to the press that it works wonders when trying to keep order as people walk from class to class: "The purpose was to improve the smooth and effective transition, as pupils and staff travel around school between busy lesson changeovers. It is quite surprising, not only do the pupils enjoy it, but they responded and it does work."

Meanwhile, the 'Halo' superstar and her husband Jay Z have just been named the highest-earning celebrity couple of the past twelve months by Forbes magazine after raking in an incredible $95 million (£59 million) between them from June 2012 to June 2013.
