Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards, of Little Mix fame, has revealed that she always makes a conscious effort to look her best for partner Zayn Malik and even puts make up on when they video chat through Skype. 

Speaking to the Daily Mirror about how she keeps her One Direction fiancé happy when they're away from each other so often, the 'Wings' songstress explained that using soft lighting and video camera-friendly make-up boosts her confidence when they chat online:

"Do you know what, I do have to make an effort with make-up when I'm talking to Zayn on Skype. It makes you feel better. But you only have to put a bit on and it looks really good."

"I try to find some good lighting too. Sometimes I tip the lamp so it looks like I appear airbrushed and I'm like, 'Oh, I've just woken up', but really I haven't! But I look flawless because of the make-up. Or I go to a window for some natural light sometimes... that's the best."

Earlier this month, Edwards confessed that she would never change for a man and told Now magazine that Malik likes her all done up as well as with a more natural look: "I can't be bothered to wear make-up every day. I'm lucky with Zayn - he likes me either way. I am who I am and I wouldn't change my look for a man."
