Earlier today, superstar Demi Lovato confirmed details of a full 2014 North American tour and she explained that Little Mix and Cher Lloyd will be opening for her on the run of dates.

Lovato's new tour is due to kick off on February 9 at the BC Pepsi Live Rogers Arena and UK based girl group Little Mix took to their collective Twitter page this afternoon (September 30) to reveal their excitement about being asked to support the 'Skyscraper' beauty on her Neon Lights tour:

"Can't believe we're going to be touring with @ddlovato in the US next year!! We're SO EXCITED! We've missed our American Mixers! xx"

Back in August, Little Mix admitted that cracking America is something they're very keen to do so their series of shows with Lovato will help with this mission: "It's our dream, fingers crossed. That's the plan, maybe next year. We'd ideally like to start with an American tour here first and then conquer the world."
