Justin Bieber has come under fire for seemingly being carried up the Great Wall of China on the shoulders of his minders.

The singer is currently in the massive country on his Believe tour, with his next date taking place on Wednesday (October 2) in Dalian.

However, pictures emerged of the Canadian visiting the iconic Great Wall of China - and it seems he rode on his security team's shoulders instead of walking up some stairs.

This prompted some Twitter users to criticise Bieber for apparent 'diva' behaviour, with one saying:

"Bieber made his bodyguards carry him up the Great Wall - what an idiot."
