'Miley Cyrus fans are urging me to commit suicide' says Sinead O'Connor

The feud between Miley Cyrus and Sinead O'Connor appears to be hotting up again after the 'Nothing Compares 2U' icon has now issued a fourth open letter to the former Disney starlet.

The tension between them began after O'Connor reached out to Cyrus and told her to be wary of the music industry making a prostitute out of her and several heated exchanges have happened since.

Now, O'Connor explains that the 'Wrecking Ball' beauty's fans are preying on her mental health problems and telling her to kill herself: "As a result of what you did I have had numerous communications from people urging me to commit suicide."

"Not to mention I have been the subject of literally thousands of abusive articles and or comments left after articles, which state that I and therefore all perceived mentally ill people, should be bullied and be invalidated."

Cyrus was slammed by mental health charity Time To Change recently for attacking O'Connor in such a public and negative way. The organisation's spokesperson, Sue Baker, explained: "It’s really disappointing to see Miley Cyrus mocking Sinead O'Connor's mental health problems and this only serves to fuel stigma. One in four of us will experience a mental health problem and there are times when we need to speak out and seek help."
