British pop-rockers Lawson have revealed that they will be opening for superstar Jessie J on her upcoming 'Alive' tour. 

They will begin the jaunt on October 22 in Glasgow and will continue on for 15 shows until the tour ends on November 11 in Cardiff. 

The 'It's My Party' beauty took to her official Twitter page last night to announce the exciting news and wrote: "SO excited for my "ALIVE UK TOUR" and to announce @lawsonofficial as special guests from 22nd October..."

Lawson then echoed the sentiment and tweeted: "Could not be more delighted to be off on tour with @jessiej! #ALIVEUKTOUR." The band's frontman, Andy Brown, added: "So happy were gonna be touring with @jessiej - bring on more fun tour stories!"

The band are currently gearing up to release an extended version of their debut album, entitled 'Chapman Square: Chapter II', on October 21 almost one year since the original's release. It will feature 6 entirely new tracks.
