Gary Barlow and Olly Murs have been confirmed to appear at this year's Royal Variety Performance.

The glamorous shindig is due to take place on November 25 at London's Palladium Theatre and both Barlow and Murs will take to the stage.

They will be joined on the bill by Britain's Got Talent winners Attraction and the cast of West End musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The event will be hosted by comedian John Bishop, who commented:

"As a child, the Royal Variety Show was like the Grand National and the FA Cup Final - it was something our family always watched - the only difference being that we didn't bet on the winner.

"I trust my parents will be proud when they take their seats in the audience, although I have told my dad not to shout, 'Come on son.' It's not a match or a horse race!'."

The Performance will raise funds for the Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund, who help those in the entertainment industry in need of care.
