Little Mix beauty Perrie Edwards has revealed that she is over the moon about her recent engagement to One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik. 

During a new interview with Bliss magazine, the blonde bombshell opened up about how she feels to be the fiancée of one of the most desired pop stars in the world:

"We’re just so happy right now. I’m on cloud nine and so is he."

Her 'Wings' bandmates also spoke about the exciting news and member Jade Thirlwall explained that it was very sudden and made for an adorable announcement: "Literally she got proposed to on Sunday, we were back at work on Monday and it was the first thing she said!”

Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: “When she told me I was verging on tears! Yeah I am such a baby! We’re so happy for her.”

Edwards then confessed that debuting the stunning ring Malik proposed to her with at the One Direction film premiere wasn't intentional: "To be honest, I didn’t even think about it. I was going to an event, getting ready with the girls, excited to see him. I get scared at red carpets in case I fall over and I didn’t want to do that with the ring. But luckily I didn’t embarrass myself!”
