Taylor Swift has released her latest track 'Sweeter Than Fiction'.

The US star created the song for the soundtrack to new film One Chance, which recreates the life of Britain's Got Talent opera singer Paul Potts.

The 'Red' singer tweeted last night (October 20): "Something I'm really excited about is happening very soon! Maybe even as soon as tonight..."

Swift added: "So...."Sweeter Than Fiction" will be available at iTunes TONIGHT at midnight!"

Once Chance, which stars James Corden in its lead role, will be shown in cinemas across the UK from Friday (October 25).

Former mobile phone salesman Potts meanwhile saw his life turn upside down in 2007 after winning Britain's Got Talent.

He later went on to hit No.1 in the UK with his debut album 'One Chance', with his second record 'Passione' landing in 2009. Listen to 'Sweeter Than Fiction' below:
