Justin Bieber on new releases: 'Finally we are talking about what's important - the music'

Justin Bieber has expressed his happiness at seeing people talk about his music again and not his private life.

The singer has been dogged this year with media coverage of a number of personal indiscretions, as well as unsubstantiated gossip.

The Canadian has released three new songs in as many weeks, with the latest cut coming in the shape of 'Hold Tight'.

Bieber took to Twitter to show his relief that people are getting back to speaking about his work, saying:

"Finally we are talking about what is important. The music. #MusicMondays."

He previously tweeted: "Go into a room alone. Turn off the lights and listen to this. #HoldTight . #MusicMondays - spread the word."

The release of 'Hold Tight' meanwhile is part of Bieber's Music Mondays project, which will see the singer release a new song every week until Christmas.

He will then unleash the movie Believe 3D on Christmas Day. Listen to 'Hold Tight' below:
