Britney Spears on Jason Trawick split: "It wasn't one of my hardest break-ups"

Britney Spears has opened up on her split from former fiancé Jason Trawick.

The pop songstress broke up with the talent agent in January this year and it seems the split has given the singer inspiration for her upcoming record 'Britney Jean'.

Speaking in an interview which was aired on This Morning today (October 21), Spears admitted that her new album will see the 'Toxic' lady have her say on the split. She said:

"It was a hard break-up, but it wasn't one of my hardest break-ups, but I definitely had some things to say in my album about it, so you'll see."

The singer has been married twice previously - firstly for 55 hours to Jason Alexander in 2004 and then to Kevin Federline between 2004 and 2007.

Speaking generally about her new record, Spears said: "I wanted to do something that was a little more personal for my fans because I went through a lot this year and I wanted to share those personal moments with them. I co-produced it with will.i.am. He is so much fun to be with. It was really cool. He's so excitable!"

'Britney Jean' meanwhile will be unleashed on December 3, with its UK release preceded by the single 'Work Bitch' on November 3.

The former X Factor USA judge will then embark on a two-year Planet Hollywood Las Vegas residency.
