OneRepublic announce Royal Albert Hall charity show

OneRepublic have confirmed plans to play London's Royal Albert Hall next year.

The date will take place on March 27 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, who are celebrating their 14th year of hosting fundraising gigs.

OneRepublic are currently No.1 in the UK singles chart with 'Counting Stars' and patron for the Trust Roger Daltrey said that the booking is a coup for the charity. He said:

"It's brilliant to be able to confirm a number one act for our shows. OneRepublic have a lot of fans over here and I'm sure they'll have a great time and will sound fantastic in the Royal Albert Hall."

The date will come at the end of the band's already announced UK tour, which incidentally kicks off with a London show at the Roundhouse 11 days earlier.

OneRepublic were previously scheduled to perform a total of seven shows on the tour.

Tickets meanwhile for the Teenage Cancer Trust show will go on sale from Friday (October 25).
