Lana Del Rey 'can't hear' a second album

Sultry songstress Lana Del Rey has revealed that she isn't sure if she will make a second album because she's struggling to write material for a follow up release.

Her debut offering, 'Born To Die', was incredibly well received, but she has now revealed that it's unlikely a sophomore record will be put out. Speaking to Nylon magazine, she explained:

"When people ask me about it, I just have to be honest - I really don't know... I don't want to say, 'Yeah, definitely - the next one's better than this one,' because I don't really hear a next one. My muse is very fickle. She only comes to me sometimes, which is annoying."

She worried fans earlier this summer by referring to her new film 'Tropico' as a "farewell project" and tweeted: “Looking forward to seeing you for the farewell project. I adore you and thank you for inspiring me.”

Del Rey also told Nylon that the recent song leaks have saddened her where making a new album is concerned: "I do feel discouraged, yeah. I don't really know what to put on the record. But I guess I could just put them on and see what happens."
