Lady Gaga is among the artists set to contribute limited edition vinyl to Record Store Day's Black Friday event.

The organisers, who hold an annual global celebration of independent record shops, are releasing a string of unique goods on November 29.

Gaga will unleash a 12" picture disc vinyl version of her recent single 'Applause', which will contain remixes from the likes of Empire of the Sun.

Nirvana meanwhile will release a clear vinyl edition of their remastered 'In Utero' record.

Other names set to take part in the Black Friday promotion include The Flaming Lips, Duran Duran, Foals and Tegan & Sara.

Record Store Day meanwhile started in the US in 2007 before launching in the UK.
