Louis Walsh: 'I was thinking of leaving 'X Factor', but I'm having too much fun'

Music mogul and 'X Factor' judge Louis Walsh has confessed that his initial plans to leave his role on the TV talent show might now be redundant as he's really enjoying being a part of it.

During an interview with personality and chat show host Jonathan Ross, Walsh explained that he was tempted to hang up his judges coat and retire from the programme, but might reconsider his next move now:

"Well, I said I was (leaving). But I'm having so much fun this year, I might stay."

He then joked that Simon Cowell is to blame for getting him back on 'The X Factor' in the UK, adding: ""It was never in my plan to be on TV but Simon Cowell put me there. I'm very grateful to him but I need my life back!"

Earlier this month, Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack told Digital Spy that she believes Walsh will stick around for a while longer: "I don't think it will be [his final year]. I don't think it'll be the same without Louis. He's like part of the furniture, ain't he?”
