Quincy Jones suing Michael Jackson's estate for $10 millionLegendary record producer Quincy Jones has launched a lawsuit against the estate of Michael Jackson. Jones and Jackson famously worked together on three of the late King of Pop’s albums – 1979’s ‘Off The Wall’, 1982’s ‘Thriller’ and 1987’s ‘Bad’. Jones claims that Michael Jackson’s estate and Sony Music Entertainment improperly re-edited songs which denied him royalties and production fees. The 80-year-old Grammy award winner has also asserted that they went back on an agreement which gave him the right to remix master recordings for posthumous album releases following Jackson's death in 2009. Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson first met on the set of 1978 musical ‘The Wiz’ when Jackson asked for recommendations on a producer for his upcoming solo album and Jones offered his own services. Together the pair would go on to record the best-selling album of all time – ‘Thriller’. Michael Jackson was recently named the highest-earning dead celebrity of 2013.
