One Direction unveil 'Story Of My Life' stills and reveal nerves ahead of singles chart battle

Boyband One Direction are gearing up to debut the official music video for their new single, 'Story Of My Life', and have taken to their individual Twitter pages to share stills from the offering.

The full cut is set to premiere this coming Sunday, November 3, and each member has now shared a high-res image from the video in order to tide fans over until they can watch the visuals for the impressive song.

While the only hint of the footage can be seen in an 18-second trailer, music mogul Simon Cowell recently confessed that he has seen the final edit and thinks it's the superstars' best video to date: "I think the story of my life is the best One D video yet. And I love the record."

Meanwhile, the track debuted at No.1 on the official midweek singles chart update but it was revealed that they are being trailed closely behind by the likes of Fatboy Slim (No.2) and The Wanted (No.4). Member Niall Horan posted a series of messages earlier this morning (November 1) asking fans to help them secure the top spot and revealed his nerves in the process:

"Story of my life peeps. It's gona be super tight in the charts this week! Lets rally together! Love you! Nervous! fingers, arms, legs, eyes are all crossed for this weekend! #SOML."

One Direction are currently in Japan for the next leg of their Take Me Home tour, which is finally nearing an end after an extensive run.
