Fun Lovin' Criminals singer Huey Morgan caused a stir after smashing a mug and storming off the set of TV show Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

The singer appeared on a new episode of the popular BBC quiz show last night (November 4), which was hosted by hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks.

However, the radio personality seemingly took offence to his band's lyrics being used in the show's customary 'next lines' round.

Rizzle Kicks said: "Are you alright with that? You look so upset, man.”

Morgan replied: “I’m totally alright with that, I just thought you guys might do something different for a change.”

The singer then stood up and smashed his mug on the table after not knowing the final question in the round.

Morgan then walked off the set before the end of the show after being the subject of repeated jibes over the incident.

Rizzle Kicks meanwhile tweeted last night: "R.I.P Mug."

Ordinary Boys star Preston famously stormed off the programme's set in 2007 after host Simon Amstell made fun of his then-wife Chantelle Houghton.
