Geri Halliwell's new single sells less than 400 copies

Geri Halliwell's new single has entered at No.281 on the Australian chart.

The singer recently released the comeback track 'Half of Me' in the country, where she works as a judge on Australia's Got Talent.

However, it shifted only 393 copies in its first week on sale, meaning that it failed to crack the singles chart's top 250.

Australian X Factor winner Dami Im topped the chart with her track 'I'm Alive', which sold 44,025 copies.

Halliwell first aired the song 'Half of Me' with a performance on Australian football show, but the slot was widely panned.

A worldwide release of the single has yet to be confirmed.

The Spice Girls star's last full album came in the shape of 2005's 'Passion', which reached a disappointing No.41 in the UK chart.

However, Halliwell enjoyed a string of UK No.1 singles in the late 1990s and early 2000s following her departure from the Spice Girls.
