The American Music Awards have added a trio of big name acts to this year's line-up.

Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and TLC will all perform at the event, which is taking place in Los Angeles on November 24.

Perry will perform new track 'Unconditionally' whilst Lopez will honour late Cuban-American star Celia Cruz.

TLC meanwhile will be joined by a 'special guest' for their slot.

The three names join an already bulging line-up that includes the likes of One Direction, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga.

Ke$ha, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Luke Bryan will also perform on the night, which is being hosted by Pitbull.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis look set to reign supreme at the ceremony with six nominations in total.

Taylor Swift meanwhile has five nods in categories such as Favourite Album and Artist of the Year.
