Lady Gaga is to play the last ever concerts at New York's Roseland Ballroom venue next year.

The flamboyant star is scheduled to perform four shows at the soon to be closing hall in March and April 2014.

The first show will take place on March 28, with two more dates on March 30 and 31, as well as April 2.

The Ballroom will close its doors after the events on April 2.

Fans can register via Gaga's Little Monsters website for a ticket pre-sale, which will begin on November 21. Public sale is scheduled for November 25.

The Roseland Ballroom opened in Philadelphia in 1917 before relocating to New York two years later.

A host of big name acts have played the venue over the years, including Metallica, Nirvana and Beyoncé, who filmed the Live at Roseland: Elements of 4 DVD there.
