After recently comparing his own daughter, North, to Prince George – son of Prince William and Kate Middleton – Kanye West has now likened his fiancée to Marilyn Monroe.

In a radio interview with Power 105's The Breakfast Club, the ‘Monster’ rapper referenced a recent photo shoot by Vanity Fair (see image below) that depicted model Kate Upton as the ‘Some Like Hot’ Hollywood Icon.

Kanye argued: “Kate Upton ain't Marilyn Monroe, Kim is Marilyn Monroe.”

He added: “You know that. She was controversial; she's controversial.”

The ‘Black Skinhead’ rap star also spoke about his relationship with the press as he explained:

“I have a love-hate relationship with the paparazzi, but actually I love them because they are empowering us.  They are empowering us over Vanity Fair that want to say that Kate Upton is Marilyn Monroe.”

Kanye West recently unveiled the video for his single ‘Bound 2’ which sees him riding a motorcycle with a topless Kim Kardashian.
