Ed Sheeran on Taylor Swift: 'England's really adopting her'

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has revealed that country-pop sensation Taylor Swift is finally starting to feel right at home in his native UK because her audience is expanding hugely.

Speaking to E! News about Swift and how she's fitting into being in the country, he explained that 'Red' has been incredibly popular here, which has been great for her in terms of raising her profile:

"England's like really adopting her now."

"It's kind of cool because she, this has been her biggest album in England. This is the first time she's really opened up to the UK and yeah, they're really adopting her."

Last month, Swift told press that she loves London so much that she's seriously considering buying property in the cityso that when she visits she has a place to call home: "Anywhere I spend a considerable amount of time, I think about maybe getting a place. But it would have to be the perfect place. I definitely love it over here, so I've always thought about what it would be like to be here more."

"I'm going to be here a lot starting with some shows in February at The O2 in London, then more and more. I love the fans, I love talking to the people, I really do love everything."
