Mutya Keisha Siobhan deny they have been dropped by label

Mutya Keisha Siobhan have denied speculation that they have been dumped by their record label.

The original Sugababes trio have released one single via Polydor - 'Flatline' - but it only managed to hit No.50 in the UK.

Speaking to NME, Keisha Buchanan confirmed that the group are still on the same label, adding that chart performance wasn't a big priority. She said:

"We're still with Polydor. 100 per cent. For us we weren't expecting the single to chart. On the first day it went to 16, then we did one TV show with Alan Carr and it went to number 10...If we'd done more TV and there had been more promotion around us then we definitely would have had a bigger single."

She added: "It did what we wanted it to do. On our Soundcloud we had 100,000 views on one hour."

Mutya Keisha Siobhan meanwhile are expected to release their debut album early next year.
