Adam Lambert on course to release new album next year

Adam Lambert has revealed that his next record should be released next year.

The singer's last full effort came in the shape of 2012's 'Trespassing' and fans have been eager to hear his new material.

Speaking to Yahoo, the vocal powerhouse said that his new album should, "in theory", be released in 2014.

When asked, however, about the sound of the record, Lambert said: "I haven't really done most of it yet."

The 'Better Than I Know Myself' man added that he would be "honoured" to sing on more peoples' songs after working on Avicii's 'Lay Me Down'.

As previously reported, Lambert recently stated at the Trevor Project's TrevorLive event on Sunday (December 8) that he likes to support as many different LGBT groups as possible.

He said: "The Trevor Project is dealing with kids that are kind of at the end of the road. I like to be involved in as many different LGBT activism groups as possible because I think there's different stages and different ways to reach out."
