Louis Walsh on Union J: 'I thought they would have been bigger'

Music mogul Louis Walsh has confessed that he's slightly disappointed to the public's reaction to 'X Factor' formed act Union J as he always expected them to have been bigger than they currently are.

During a new interview, the Irish judge explained that he is surprised that they aren't more successful: "They're doing okay. I thought they would have been a little bit bigger. I think give them a bit more time... to grow."

Despite his reservations about the 'Carry You' hitmakers, Walsh added that he is excited about a new boyband he's working on for next year and admitted that they're Irish and there are five members: "They're just five boys, Irish. No name [yet], nothing."

Walsh also recently spoke out about 'X Factor' winner James Arthur and said that he couldn't believe how rude he had been about his contemporaries: "He's a competition winner that got lucky. He came from a little bedsit, he should be a lot more grateful and a lot more respectful to everybody. Don't get me going."
