Queen: 'We'll be working with Adam Lambert in 2014'

Iconic rock outfit Queen have revealed plans to reunite with vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert in the new year

Drummer Roger Taylor told Canoe.ca in a new interview that 2014 should bring a new project with the 'Trespassing' superstar as he made such an impression on them during previous collaborative performances:

"It was a one-off but it went really fantastically well. He's really come on even more, He's a real dark force now. And he's very theatrical. And he really interprets our songs just brilliantly. And he has that incredible instrument, that voice and I feel he's going away from the pop thing which is good I think. And he's becoming a serious player."

Taylor added: "He's got a voice which is pretty unbeatable. I do think we will be working with Adam next year, yeah."

On December 14, guitarist Brian May posted a cryptic message to his official Twitter page, in which he teased big plans for the next twelve months involving the band: "Our Queen meeting? Thanks for asking. We pressed 2 important buttons. 2014 is going to be an interesting year for us. News v. soon. Bri."

Lambert also echoed the sentiment and recently described his schedule for 2014 as "wild", telling reporters at The Trevor Project Live's red carpet: "Well, I've been doing 'Glee', which is great and I'm having fun with 'Glee'... I'm working on new music, something probably out next year, and yeah... we'll see what happens! 2014 is going to be wild!"
