'X Factor' winner Sam Bailey: 'Criticism will only make me stronger'

The winner of the latest season of 'The X Factor', Sam Bailey, has admitted that she doesn't care if some negativity gets thrown her way because she's used to dealing with it.

Bailey, who works as a prison officer, has revealed that she had to deal with difficult situations in her every day life so won't bat an eyelid if she has to face criticism now that she has won the popular TV talent show:

"You know what it’s just going to make me go a bit stronger… I’m used to taking a bit from people so to have people have a bit of a pop at me, bring it on, I really don’t care.”

She opened up about how it felt to win 'The X Factor', adding: "Last night a soon as I left, I went over to the hotel and there was a bit of a party going on and I walked in and literally got mobbed and all I wanted to do was sit in a dark room with a cup of tea and just reflect on everything, it was really strange."

Meanwhile, 'X Factor' panelist Gary Barlow has now confessed that he would love the chance to write songs for Bailey in the future: "I think the whole world will be looking at Sam right now as a great vehicle to be able perform their song with that kind of emotion and the kind of technical ability that she's got. It's incredible. I would be excited as a songwriter to write for her voice."
