Madonna: 'I'm not in the Illuminati, but I know who the real Illuminati are'

During a new interview with the Rolling Stone, the Queen of Pop made some unusual remarks about a certain secret society that is often linked with the music industry's most powerful stars.

Madonna has recorded a song called 'Illuminati' for her upcoming 13th studio album Rebel Heart, which is out on March 9, and told the magazine that she is always accused of being a member:

"People often accuse me of being a member of the Illuminati, but the thing is, I know who the real Illuminati are and I know where that word comes from."

She also opened up about the inspiration behind the title of her new single 'Living For Love', adding: "Lots of people sing about being in love and being happy, or they write about having a broken heart and being inconsolable. But nobody writes about having a broken heart and being hopeful and triumphant afterward. That was my challenge. I didn't want to be a victim."
