Madonna has lined up a forthcoming UK TV special.

The singer will be the subject of a one-off show alongside host Jonathan Ross.

The programme will air in March and it will see Madonna discuss her upcoming new album 'Rebel Heart'.

The US star will also perform two songs on the show.

Ross first worked with Madonna more than two decades ago and the TV man commented:

"Madonna is remarkable. A bold, daring, uncompromising superstar who shot to the top back in the '80s and has remained there ever since. I am hoping this interview will be as memorable and revealing as the first time I sat down with her over 20 years ago."

Madonna added on Twitter today (February 17) alongside an old photo of the pair (pictured above):

"Mr. Ross we meet. again..........see you next week! I might be wearing a different hat!"

The singer meanwhile will release 'Rebel Heart' in the UK on March 9.
